IRCC Holds Second Express Entry Draw for Physicians with Canadian Work Experience in 2026
Physicians with Canadian Work Experience continue to benefit from Canada’s targeted immigration initiatives designed to strengthen the country’s healthcare workforce. On June 24, 2026, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the second Express Entry draw of the year for physicians with Canadian work experience. The draw was an indicator of the country’s continuous efforts towards the development of its healthcare system and provided another chance for physicians to gain their permanent residency in Canada.
