Ontario invited 1,277 Skilled Trades Stream Candidates
On July 11, 2024, Ontario made significant strides in addressing its skilled labor needs by inviting 1,277 candidates under the Skilled Trades Stream of the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP). The draw on July 11 was part of a broader strategy by Ontario to meet its labor market needs through the OINP. Since July 11, 2023, Ontario has been diligently assessing candidates who have created profiles in the Express Entry system. This year alone, the province has invited a remarkable 29,552 candidates across all OINP streams.
